Shipping and Delivery Timing

Each gift typically ships within one-to-three days of placing an order. The shipping method you select at checkout and the destination will determine the estimated date of arrival, typically within 2-7 business days. It should be noted that shipping times may vary for reasons outside our control (e.g. global pandemics or carrier staffing shortages), and refunds may not be issued for a delayed package outside of our control.

The timeframes are projections provided to us from USPS and are to be used as guidelines only. Please understand that while Beyond Words Co. makes every effort to ensure your package arrives in a timely manner, we are not responsible for delays when they occur in the shipping journey.

We will work with our customers on a case-by-case basis to do our best to resolve in-transit issues and delays outside of our control accordingly.

If your package tracking has stalled while in transit, please make a personal claim with USPS. It is the best route to take as many packages will begin moving again within 10 days of making a claim. Click here to visit USPS.com to begin this process.

Lost Packages: what if a tracking number displays that the care package was scanned as delivered, but my recipient never got it?

If your tracking information has reported a successful delivery to the address provided by the customer, and but the recipient didn’t get it, we will do everything we can to locate it by inquiring with the carrier. This is a rare situation that is out of our control, and could be attributable to any number of things, including the package being stolen. Please understand that we can’t take responsibility for lost or missing packages that have been scanned and tracked as successfully delivered to the shipping address provided with your order. We do not provide refunds or replacements in these scenarios.

You can always contact USPS at 1-800-222-1811 as they can check the delivery scan and escalate an investigation on your behalf.

What if the recipient is not there to receive it?

The care package will be left at the delivery location. We cannot be held liable for theft or damage of the gift, if the intended recipient is unavailable to receive their delivery. By your request, we can accommodate to obtain a signature on delivery for an extra fee.

Shipping Appearance 

Each box ships in the custom Beyond Words Co. gift box. Gift items are carefully packed and will arrive as beautiful as the day it was packed. No prices, packing slips, or receipts are included to the recipient.   

If you plan on hand-delivering the care package to a recipient, please let us know and we are happy to hand-wrap the printed shipping box in a padded envelope. The return address on the shipping label will state Beyond Words Co.. Please do not hesitate with questions about confidentiality to hello@beyondwordsco.com

Can I include a custom message?

Absolutely! Leave your contact information and message with us in the space provided at checkout and we will hand-write your lovely words to be included with the gift.

Can I gift anonymously?

If desired, you can also choose to gift anonymously. You are able to select this option at check-out. 

What if my recipient has an allergy?  

We've taken great care to select our products to be sensitive to a variety of allergens, including food items and essential oils. However, we acknowledge we cannot accommodate all sensitivities or concerns. Tell us about any concern in the special instructions section when you are checking out. We will do our best to find appropriate substitutes at equal value. We cannot be held responsible for any issue your recipient may have with gift items, including but not limited to, allergic reactions or food born illness.

Can I personalize the items in the care package? 

We can support those going through grief for a variety of reasons. We will personalize for different circumstances of grief and recipients. Send us an email at hello@beyondwordsco.com to inform us of your situation. We will substitute some items depending on the nature of the loss. Any gift substitutions are at an approximate equal value. 

Some items appear to be tailored towards a feminine identity, do you have products that identify more with masculine or agender identity?

What is your cancellation, return, and refund policy?

All sales are final after shipment. An order may only be canceled from the time it is placed up to the care package is shipped. After the shipment, the order may no longer be cancelled. To inquire about or request an order cancellation before shipment please contact us at (612)-361-1760.

Due to the nature of the items in our care packages, we are unable to accept returns.

Regarding refunds, we are here to make certain that you and your recipients are 100% satisfied. If the items in a gift we’ve sent do not arrive safely or meet our high standards, please contact us within 72 hours of delivery and we’ll do all we can to make it right.
